What is Braatabox & Co?
Andre: Braatabox & Co is a gifting design company. We curate from the handywork of local artisans and creatives to come up with unique gift designs that can be used with a variety of gifting occasions.
Who are you?
Andre: I think of myself as a creative connector. I am always thinking about how things can work together towards an outcome that wouldn’t have been otherwise possible without those connections having been made. That is what I see as my primary role at Braatabox & Co. I am also someone that appreciates beautiful things and by extension those that make them. I aim to use my platform to bring attention to the beauty around us.
Where did the idea for Braatabox & Co. come from?
Andre: I think the idea came from missing things from home while living overseas and wishing for a way to acquire them. This lead me to the desire to create an e-commerce business that focused on exposing Jamaican made products to those that really wanted them.
How long have you been in business?
Andre: Jamaica’s Heroes Day 2018 made three years! We officially launched on Heroes Day 2015. :)
What does customer service mean to you?
Andre: Customer service is knowing that each individual customer has the ability to create a multiplying effect for the business, whether good or bad and we get one shot to help the customer make a positive impact for us whenever we are fulfilling their order. We spare no cost in many situations to deliver what we promise. I think that’s what customer service is about, delivering on what we promise through Braatabox & Co.

Andre: Too early to talk about haha :) Let’s just say we are about to expand the definition of locally made. ;)
Favourite buttery treat?
Andre: I like shortbread butter cookies alot!
